Jason is a fourth generation fisherman from Invercargill who spent his school holidays fishing with his father in Fiordland, before commencing his own fishing career in 2008. His extensive knowledge of commercial fishing, combined with a keen interest in recreational hunting and fishing, gives Jason a unique appreciation of how different groups can share an environment. Having been a board member of CRA8 for the past 10 years, and a member of an advisory board within Fiordland Lobster Company, Jason is deeply involved in the Fiordland marine community and is passionate about preserving Fiordland not only for his children’s generation, but for generations to come.
